Hosting a large Flagship Investors’ Forum (IF) in the Autumn continues to be a strategic priority for the firm. We will announce details on this year’s IF in due course. More than ever before, this year’s IF will leverage the large number of deep relationships that CITICS has developed over many years as China’s leading investment bank with corporates across China.
We look forward to welcoming our clients to this year’s Japan Forum (Tokyo: Grand Hyatt Roppongi Hills, May 19-21; already announced) and India Forum (during Q4; exact dates still tbc).
Given the increasing levels of concern caused by the novel coronavirus, we will cancel this year’s ASEAN Forum which was scheduled to take place in Bangkok from March 11-13. Obvious risks around assemblies of large numbers of people within a small space and travel restrictions put in place over the past week by a large number of our institutional investor clients were important considerations.
We are fully committed to continue to deliver thought-leading, world-class Investor Forums throughout 2020 and beyond. In fact, we will invest in these events to ensure we further improve the value proposition for our institutional and corporate clients around the world.
