Further strengthening its leadership position in Japanese equities

 

Tokyo, Japan – Monday, 14 May 2018:  CLSA Limited (‘CLSA’), Asia’s leading capital markets and investment group, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new hires in research to bolster its coverage in the Japan property, infrastructure and auto parts sectors.

William Montgomery joins CLSA as senior research analyst to cover Japanese property, JREITS and infrastructure. He has lived in Japan for the past sixteen years and brings to CLSA a wealth of Japanese industry and buy/sell-side experience. A highly ranked analyst in both the real estate and industrials sectors, William gained top three positions in the Thomson Reuters Analyst Awards in 2017-2015. He holds an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a CFA.

Leonne Chen joins CLSA Japan as senior research analyst to cover Japanese auto parts, relocating to Tokyo from Taiwan where she covered auto parts, automation and technology industries at CL Securities Taiwan for eight years.  Leonne was voted No.2 in automobiles & components in Taiwan in 2017 and ranked No.1 in Taiwanese small caps in 2016-2015 in the Asiamoney Brokers Poll. She holds an MSc in accounting and finance from the University of Bath in the UK.

Hiro Nakakura joins CLSA Japan as research assistant to support the property, JREITS and infrastructure coverage. Previously, Hiro worked as a financial analyst at Bloomberg in London and a portfolio analyst for a boutique asset management firm in Denver. Hiro graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BS in accounting.
