Hong Kong, 21 July 2021: Now in its 28th year, CITIC CLSA Flagship Investors’ Forum (“Investors’ Forum”), Asia’s longest-running investment conference, will be held virtually from 13 to 17 September 2021, for the second consecutive year, as international travel restrictions remain in place.

The five-day event will bring together more than 1,400 senior executives from 500 leading companies and more than 2,500 buy-side investors to connect and exchange ideas on the issues and trends shaping global markets. A record 260 corporations from Mainland China and Hong Kong will attend the event, a make-up tailored to meet global investors’ growing appetite for investment into China.

Edward Park, CEO of Institutional Equities, commented: “With COVID-19 continuing to drive disruption to the global economy, there is an unprecedented need for investors and corporates to connect with one another. This is exactly what our platform is designed to do, our research presence across Asia delivers a comprehensive understanding of what is happening on-the-ground, while our position as the international arm of China’s largest investment bank provides unmatched access to Asia’s capital markets.”

Our award-winning research team and the lineup of expert speakers in technology, health, environmental and social issues, geopolitics, finance and economics will continue to deliver original insights that drive investment opportunities. Shaun Cochran, Head of Research, is “excited about helping investors and corporates understand the outlook for markets, companies and consumers as the global economy begins to re-open. Our carefully curated list of expert speakers will unpack the global race for technology leadership across healthcare, fintech, semi-conductors and the consumer space, as well the rapidly changing geopolitical and regulatory landscape seen across the region.”

With travel restrictions expected to be eased gradually, Kai Kaufmann, Head of Corporate Access and Client Strategy, said: “CLSA looks forward to welcoming delegates in person again at next year’s Investors’ Forum to be hosted in Hong Kong, from 13 to 16 September 2022. The new venue for our annual marquee event, Rosewood Hong Kong, has a state-of-the-art conference facility, which will enable us to take our Investors’ Forum to an entirely new level.”
