Bloomberg: This morning on Bloomberg Day Break, Elinor Leung, Managing Director of Asia Telecom & Internet Research at hashtag#CLSA commented on the upcoming earnings reports from Tencent and Alibaba.
In Elinor’s view, both companies are expected to post solid earnings growth, with Tencent rebounding in gaming and Alibaba increasing growth in e-commerce.

In Chris’ view Toyota Motor is one of the highlights in terms of guidance on outperformance following the last fiscal year, which was the best sales for global automotive in a decade as the market recovered from covid and the chip shortage. He is also watching Subaru which recently launched new product and has seen some strong growth in profits earlier in the fiscal year with more to come in 2025.
