Eric Fishwick, Head of Economic Research, CLSA

Eric Fishwick, Head of Economic Research, joined CLSA in 1999, since then he has covered every one of the Asian economies that CLSA operates in. Eric took over as Head of Economic Research in November 2007 and was named Asia’s top economist by Asiamoney in 2009. Eric has 20 years’ experience in financial markets and has worked in developed-economy forex and fixed-income markets as well as emerging market equities. Prior to CLSA he was with the Industrial Bank of Japan and then Nikko Europe. Before moving into the financial sector, Eric was a permanent advisor to the British parliament at the House of Commons in London. Eric holds an MA in economics and an MPhil in international relations from the University of Cambridge.
