In support of #EarthDay 2023, CITIC CLSA renewed its pledge to environmental sustainability and took action in our community. On 1 April a group of dedicated CITIC CLSA volunteers embarked on task of cleaning up the hiking trail that leads to Devil’s Peak. With gloves, rubbish bags, and litter pickers in hand, the team spent hours collecting scattered rubbish along the path while enjoying the breath-taking panoramic views of Hong Kong. Despite the challenging terrain and the unpredictable weather, the team remained committed to their mission, determined to make a positive impact on the environment. Their hard work paid off as they successfully collected several bags of rubbish, leaving the trail cleaner and safer for hikers and wildlife.

Hosting a large Flagship Investors’ Forum (IF) in the Autumn continues to be a strategic priority for the firm. We will announce details on this year’s IF in due course. Given the increasing levels of concern caused by the novel coronavirus, we will cancel this year’s ASEAN Forum which was scheduled to take place in Bangkok from March 11-13. Obvious risks around assemblies of large numbers of people within a small space and travel restrictions put in place over the past week by a large number of our institutional investor clients were important considerations.
We are fully committed to continue to deliver thought-leading, world-class Investor Forums throughout 2020 and beyond. In fact, we will invest in these events to ensure we further improve the value proposition for our institutional and corporate clients around the world.
