Dignity Kitchen 2023

On 25 February, a group of CLSA Hong Kong volunteers dedicated their Saturday afternoon to preparing hot meals at Dignity Kitchen. The team took up the challenge of packing 120 meal boxes with vigor and enthusiasm. After the packing was completed, CLSA volunteers set out to distribute the meal boxes along with face masks to the less privileged people in Mongkok.
Throughout the event, CLSA volunteers had the opportunity to serve those in need within the local community while supporting a social enterprise that trains and hires differently abled people. The team came together as a group to interact with people in the community and deliver nutritious meals. A big thank you to our energetic volunteers and also participants who made donations to the Pay-It-Forward voucher programme. The total amount of HK$3,500 raised through this event will be used to provide meals and food supplies.
