The feed tray is emptying, foxes howl beyond the horizon, a coup of some sort threatens the harmony of the pecking order. A year of ruffling feathers beckons. The horse year is not the kindest to you this time, but help is there for the taking and, lest we forget, all greatest star of love shines bright on you for the year. Perhaps not as pheasant a year as last year, but there are improvements to be made and it will all hinge on not duck-ing the work to be done.

At times during the year, you may be tempted to cluck, squawk and peck a little more than usual. We would like to say that all you need is a good dust-bath and to pull yourself together. Avoiding over-eggs-erting yourself while preening would be a good strategy. Here is another tip: if you are planning any superhero moves, keep your capon while you do them, keep the drumsticks beating in time and you will not need to wing it unnecessarily.
Cock-tails from five? Cock-tails from eight? Choose your time. We advise a prudent attitude to where you scatter your feed, but are pleased to announce, on behalf of the invisible capital stars that are flocking around, that whatever plans you are hatching, you should aim to emerge at the right time. Keep your laughter to yourself, and all will be well.
The Sublime Crimson Bird of Love Star is here to ensure that your chances of doing the chicken dance this year are high. If brooding is in your plans, this will be a year where the cosmos supports you. For those who plan to spend the year as a peacock, the wardrobe is open, and you should be scratching around inside for whatever exotic feathers will help you fill your nest.
A broad expanse opens before you this year - roam if you wish. Whether you go or stay, you will find more than enough chest-bumping and standoffs wherever you are to motivate you to claw your way to the top. Keep a watchful eye on the Hook Spirit Star, a spirit with the temperament of a colicky infant and a tendency to throw all the toys out of the roost.
