The cosmic joker has put you back in the great laboratory maze experiment. You are hungry and the corridors are lined with poisonous bait - what could be "micer"? A tricky year beckons, but with a little cunning and forward scurrying, you could end it with a better mouse hole and the cats banished. So, no feet up, whiling away the time, or twirling your whiskers this year - all rats on deck so the ship won’t sink.

Possible accidents in your professional life and those involving transport are a clear hint that Tai Sui and the universe are setting traps with deceptive cheese in unanticipated places. Smell the roses, as it were, but it is thorns all the way down for those who push the boundaries too far. You don’t want to be infamous for the wrong reasons.
Having a conflict with Tai Sui this year means that your treasure hoarding is likely to see dramatic ups and downs. The cosmic forces will create a wavy pattern, akin to riding an erratic fire horse. Happily, the Tang Tally Star is on board to tamp down on these fluctuations. Rats with a set income will suffer less. If you have taken your chance in the oceans, there might be a little more rattish boggling than usual.
Your ability to move your eyes in different directions is a fine party trick, yet it is not always the winning move to someone else’s heart that you think it might be. How does one reach someone else’s heart? For you, it is either through osmosis or innovative rat-a-tat schemes that have you knocking on your intended’s door. The hours between 11 pm and 1 am belong to the rat; for a more satisfying year, take care in how you share them with others.
Not the year to plan to arrive at work every day in a limousine. The Heaven Laments Star is hiding in the elevators and canteens and by the watercoolers, making promising outcomes less than certain. Your best protection this year is to be as anonymous as possible. If your tail is tucked in, then no-one can stand on it.
