A native New Yorker, Cortez has set the record as the youngest woman sitting in Congress. She has progressive policies and is going to need all her democratic and negotiation skills to navigate a year for earth snakes that will have numerous obstacles and unforeseen turbulence. Her temper will have to be kept on a leash as she plays in the large tent of US politics; some of those toys will bite back. There are opportunities for advancing in her career and she will no doubt make full use of them so expect her to be appointed to various committees. Finances should not be an issue unless she goes big on some items, such as healthcare or the abolition of college fees, or her choice of wardrobe. She will need to get any deals done without going into debit in the political world. We wish her luck.
