While Amazon is not yet on the moon, that future is on Bezos' to-do list. Elbow to elbow with Bill Gates as the richest person on the planet, his rise has been steady and fast. What do the dogs howl for this water rabbit? His backstops will not be as strong so he'll need to be more reliant on himself. On the positive side, he is likely to show the public his true face through presentations - perhaps using a new Amazon version of PowerPoint. And if he didn't have enough already, he'll be pleased to know that the God of Wealth is going to be lying on his doormat for most of the year. We're not saying that's a buy - just that he is on the up.
