CLSA Capital Partners exceeds US$250 million to date in investments and realisations across Asia
Two recent deals invested by CLSA Capital Partners' funds ARIA Investment Partners and Clean Resources Asia, now brings the total of investments and realisations managed by the group to over US$250 million. CLSA Capital Partners' funds currently manage five active funds including CLSA Sunrise Capital, Fudo and MezzAsia. Since the beginning of 2006, over US$100 million has been invested and realised by ARIA Investment Partners, CLSA Capital Partners’ Asian focused growth and expansion capital fund.

CLSA Capital Partners launches clean energy fund
Singapore and Hong Kong, 28 August 2006 – CLSA Capital Partners, the US$2 billion private equity arm of the CLSA Group, has launched its fifth fund which focuses on the non-carbon energy sector in Asia. The new fund, Clean Resources Asia, is managed by Andrew Pidden and Anthony Wilkinson and believed to be the first fund of this type focused on clean energy plays in Asia.

CLSA Capital Partners and Kidoh Construction form equity alliance
TOKYO, 03 August 2006 - CLSA Capital Partners has announced today its formation of an equity alliance with leading propulsion work company Kidoh Construction Co. Ltd. through the private placement of shares with CLSA Sunrise One Ltd. (“CLSA Sunrise”), a member of the Sunrise Capital Fund, a fund focused on Japan recovery under the CLSA alternative investment umbrella. The alliance also involves the transfer of 35% of outstanding shares of construction management company Nihon Kensetsu Co., Ltd. to CLSA Sunrise.
