Innovation and AsiaUSA connectivity - The next leg of growth
At the 4th CLSA AsiaUSATM Forum on 7-9 November 2011, we will bring together in San Francisco the most dynamic companies in the world to discuss how they are helping to fuel innovation and growth in Asia.
Three years after the financial crisis, US consumer demand has still not regained its strength. This poses two challenges for US companies as they face domestic deflation and increasing competition against their peers. On one hand, they need to devote more attention and resources to overseas markets, particularly in Asia with its rapidly expanding middle class. On the other hand, the ever-accelerating pace of innovation does not allow industry leaders to rest on their laurels. And it's not just the tech space that provides fertile ground for such a development, game changers can appear in any industry. New ideas offer boundless possibilities and investment options in numerous sectors. At this year's CLSA AsiaUSATM Forum, US and Asian companies in nearly 20 sectors will discuss their strategies to address these challenges and reap from the opportunities offered.
At the 3rd CLSA AsiaUSATM Forum in 2010, more than 530 institutional investors from 14 countries came together with over 220 CEOs and CFOs from 107 leading Asia-Pacific and US companies and more than 20 specialist speakers. Investors participated in more than 1,300 hours of presentations, workshops and private meetings with CEOs and CFOs.
The AsiaUSATM Forum provides a one-stop venue for investors to compare how US and Asian companies are leveraging the commercial prospects in Asia. We have invited senior executives from more than 100 companies in both regions to share their strategy on tackling the huge market opportunities in the East and how they plan to come up with the next great idea to gain a competitive edge.
